The Family Name

The Family Name is the story of a young actor, Andrzej Wojaczek, who while preparing for a major role in a TV series about Polish German conflicts over the last seven hundred years, discovers his family history. It turns out that while the actor’s father was a member of Polish underground both in the First and Second World War and eventually was sent to Dachau concentration camp, the actor’s uncle was a German officer on the other side of the front.
